I am away in Taiwan presenting my 'Design of Aluminium Railway Vehicles' but I have just taken some time to tell you about a number of gear design related spreadsheets upladed by ExcelCalcs user mickbull.
I recall from my college days mechanical engineers were referred to by other students as gear-heads and I guess that's exactly what Mick must be. Thank for your calculations Mick I am sure that many of the site users will appreciate your contribution.
