Roy Beardmore

Administrator’s note: I was very sorry to read on his web site that “Roy Beardmore passed away on 9th March 2013. He is sadly missed.” It is interesting to see that Roy last logged into ExcelCalcs just a week before his death, no doubt responding to comments raised against his many calculations published here. Roy had a great understanding of engineering and the design process. His breath and depth of knowledge, as exhibited on his website, is totally comprehensive. The true measure of his greatness is shown in the generosity he showed by sharing his knowledge, his website is a great legacy to leave to his engineering profession and I, as one of his many website users, would like to say thank you.
