Description
This spreadsheet uses the methods and formulas found in the prying action section on p. 9-10 of the 14th Edition of the AISC Steel Manual.
It will calculate the prying action capacity for a wide flange or T shaped member, or a gusset plate using ASD or LRFD factors.
