Floor plates and orthotropic decks

This spreadsheet is an update for Michael Henry's excellent 2008 sheet for Durbar plate. From a simple user defined support condition, it calculates the capacity of a plate for a given length, span and thickness, checks the thickness against the design load, checks the deflexion under service loading and, using the given load and square size, checks the centre point load bending stress and deflexion. Changes to the original spreadsheet include minor corrections, ability to change the partial load factors for permanent and variable actions, more transparency in the equations and combining udl and point load into one calculation. Please note that this calculation required the XLC Excel Addin to be installed.
